) Flexicar finalists in Melbourne Awards 21st August 2008The Flexicar team were proud to again be Awards Finalists, this time in the prestigious Melbourne Awards, in the "Contribution to Environment" category. Since 2003, the Melbourne Awards have celebrated the people and organisations whose vision and hard work shape our city. Highlighting these achievements inspires and challenges others to make their own contribution to creating a better future for Melbourne. The vision of the awards is to "identify and celebrate significant contributions which shape the future of Melbourne and to communicate these achievements to inspire others." The awards honour a diverse range of contributions, focusing on the people and organisations who go above and beyond the call of duty. Winners are selected through an independent judging process, which gives entrants access to industry leaders and professionals who often become ambassadors for the achievements they witness. While Flexicar was not the ultimate winners of the category, we are pleased that a Flexicar member - Climate Positive - took the gold! |
