The second annual Bicycle Film Festival Melbourne rolls into the CBD on Wednesday 19 November 2008, with a program of both international and local bicycle-themed films. Flexicar is supporting the five-day festival, which brings together Melbourne's diverse community of bike riders in a celebration of cycling through film as well as other bicycle-themed events. The Festival runs from Wednesday 19 – Sunday 23 November, 2008.

Emanating from New York, where it has been running annually for the last eight years, in Melbourne the Bicycle Film Festival (BFF) incorporates the international film program in addition to a local program of bicycle-themed short films, selected by Pip Carroll, producer of the BFF Melbourne program.

A side program of bicycle-themed events will also take place throughout the five days of the Festival. 41 international films curated by New York based BFF founder and director, Brendt Barbur, and ten local Australian films make up the film program and will be screened at VCA Federation Hall in Southbank from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 November.

Supporting the film program, art, music and fashion events will take place at venues across the CBD throughout the five days of the festival.

Bookings and information at BFF's website.
