Kicking Goals for Homelessness 15 November, 2008
From Dec 1-7, 56 nations will come to Melbourne to compete in the biggest Homeless World Cup tournament ever. The World Soccer Cup aims to use the power of sport and soccer to change lives.
Eight homeless and marginalised people from across the country have been selected to represent Australia in a team known as the Street Socceroos.
Hosted by Flexicar member The Big Issue Australia, Flexicar proudly supports this event.
The event runs from 1-7 Dec at Federation Square and Birrarung Marr. Entry is free, so head along and support The Street Socceroos and the Homeless World Cup.
