- Membership Fees Joining Flexicar is simple and affordable. We have no expensive security deposits. No hidden fees or charges. Just a one-off joining fee per driver to become a carsharing member, and a small annual fee per driver to reduce your insurance excess.Once Off Joining Fee We have a once-off joining fee of $30 to establish an account. Then all subsequent drivers in your business are only $15 each (on the Biz-Starter) and $10 each (on the Biz-Moderate or Biz Regular plan). Your joining fee/s includes setting up your account and issuing each driver with a personalised Flexicard. Please note, we can only accept Mastercard and Visa. Annual Insurance Fee Our annual insurance fee is only $70 and includes fully comprehensive insurance and free 24/7 breakdown and recovery service. For businesses, the annual insurance charge is CAPPED at $560 per annum, regardless of driver numbers. There is a standard excess which varies depending on driver's age and driving experience. Unlike car rental companies that slug you an average cost of $20 per day for excess reduction every time you book a car, we only ask for one annual payment. This means if you have an accident that is your fault, you won’t be up for huge excess costs. (We’re not encouraging accidents of course, but we also don’t want to see our members having to pay out enormous sums of money if they do have one). You can even choose to reduce your drivers' excesses to $0 by opting to pay $1 an hour or $10 a day more on your bookings.  Learn more about Business Usage Plans > |
